June 2009
June is Iowa Caregivers Month – a time set-aside to honor all of those caring individuals who devote themselves to the service of others. Nishna Productions, Inc. is extremely proud to honor their dedicated “direct-care” staff for the 11^th consecutive year by hosting community coffees in Red Oak and Shenandoah.

An appreciation chamber coffee honoring NPI “direct-care” staff will be held at the Red Oak Work Center located at 207 South 3^rd Street at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
A Shenandoah Chamber and Industry Association coffee honoring NPI “direct-care” staff will be held at the Shenandoah Work Center located at 902 Day Street at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

July 2009
July 9, 2009 – 15^th Annual NPI Golf Benefit – Shenandoah American Legion Country Club – 12:30 shotgun start. It is a four-person best shot tournament - $45.00 per person which includes golf, lunch at registration, hors d’oeuvres afterwards, hole prizes on every hole, flight prizes and door prizes. The proceeds from the benefit go directly into projects which benefit the individuals that NPI serves! You can register your team by calling the American Legion Pro Shop at 712-246-3308.

Savings Central - Nishna Productions, Inc. has opened another business in Red Oak called, “Savings Central” where bargain prices are found every day! The business will be offering a variety of overstocked and returned merchandise 40 to 60 percent off of their retail prices! Nishna Productions, Inc. will purchase the items from Continental Wholesale.

The business is located at 416 Reed Street in Red Oak. The hours of operation will be from Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Company Profile

Nishna Productions, Inc. was founded in 1974 by a group of concerned citizens from Southwest Iowa. The first services were offered to seven individuals with disabilities. After more than 30 years, NPI serves approximately 200 individuals with disabilities, and employs 150 staff. Some of the services we provide are Work Activity, Adult Day Activity Program, Personal & Social Adjustment, Residential Services, Home & Community Based Services, and Employment Resources. We have facilities in Shenandoah, Red Oak, Malvern, Sidney, Glenwood, and Council Bluffs, Iowa.
