NPI ANNOUNCES ANOTHER NEW BUSINESS DIVISION

Nishna Productions, Inc., announces a new business division to its operation, which will provide secure document destruction services.  In an attempt to assist local businesses with secure document shredding compliance and give individuals with disabilities a regular vocational opportunity, the management at Nishna Productions, Inc., decided to pursue this business opportunity.

The business was developed at the Shenandoah Work Center.  In order to qualify for the secure shredding business, a room was remodeled at the Center and was made secure according to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards.  Several shredding machines have been leased to assist in the operation.   The process is as follows:  (1) Lockable tubs are issued to customers; (2) The tubs are picked up by a secured vehicle; (3) The documents are placed into a secured room; (4) The Shred Room is always locked; (5) All workers are checked for any documents on their person before leaving the shred room; (6) The shredded paper goes to a recycler; (7) Upon request, businesses will be issued a certificate of destruction.

Many hospitals, banks and other businesses have to transport their document shredding to other areas, or hire companies to come and perform the services on-site.  Secure document destruction services provided by Nishna Productions, Inc., will give local businesses an opportunity to have secure shredding completed locally and give individuals with disabilities another great vocational opportunity.

For more information about the business, please contact Monica Bartlett, Business Developer, at the Shenandoah Work Center, 246-1242.
