* 8 to 10-bed group living environments * Facilities located in Red Oak, Shenandoah, and Malvern, Iowa * Homes offer training in self-help skills, household management skills, community mobility, money management, and leisure-time skills * These programs integrate people into the community in the least restrictive environment *
All individuals are encouraged to have an outside activity at least five-hours
per day, five days a week. Activities can be attending the work center, a
job in the community, attending school, or community volunteer work. If
funding is available, individuals may stay home during the day.
